As the year draws to a close, this is usually the point where many business leaders finally get a bit of breathing space. The pace slows slightly, the diary opens up just enough, and there’s a moment to look back properly. Not just at what went well, but at what was harder than expected, what took longer than planned, and what had to be figured out along the way.
For many, this year has been about juggling more than ever. Keeping teams motivated while dealing with uncertainty. Making decisions without all the information you would like. Trying to plan ahead while still managing the day-to-day. We’ve spoken to so many people who have carried a lot quietly this year, pushing on, adapting, and doing their best to keep things moving forward even when it felt uncomfortable or messy.
What often stands out at this time of year is not just the results on paper, but the resilience behind them. The conversations you finally had. The boundaries you started to put in place. The moments where you stepped back and realised something needed to change. Those things don’t always show up in numbers, but they matter just as much, and they shape what comes next, and we should be proud of ourselves for doing that.
Before we finish the year, we also wanted to share something that matters to us. Once again, we’ve chosen not to send Christmas cards. Instead, we’ve made a donation to Charity Link, a Leicestershire charity that supports local families who are struggling with everyday essentials like beds, washing machines, cookers, and food. Being able to contribute to something that directly supports people close to home feels like a more meaningful way to mark the season.
We’d also like to say a genuine thank you to everyone who has supported REACH this year. To our clients, our wider community, and everyone who has trusted us with their time, their challenges, and their plans. That trust is never taken for granted.
Our office will be closed from 18th December until 12th January 2026, giving us time to rest, reset, and come back ready for the year ahead. We hope you’re able to find some space to do the same.
