Has anyone ever asked you WHY you do what you do? And if they have, how authentic were you in answering?
Our WHY was Poppy, our firstborn who handed us our Mum and Dad lifetime titles. Having a child was a crystal-clear wake-up call that affirmed time stops for no one – once it’s passed, we can’t claw it back. A few days shy of Poppy’s first birthday, we launched REACH Business Coaching.
It’s true to say we’re in awe of what we’ve been able to achieve. But by a country mile – our biggest achievement is being fully present for our two children from the moment they were born to the beautiful teenage girls they’ve become. Sometimes it’s the simplest of things like having breakfast and tea together as our family of four – something we’ve done almost every single day since we started Coaching.
I don’t know about you but having grown up without a nurturing and stable structure, it means even more to me to try and create this for our daughters. I can see the difference this has made to them – being together, talking, sharing, and making memories – knowing they are safe and loved.
Whether you have children or not, it’s my absolute passion to be able to create for you, both the time and space to be able to do exactly what you want, when you want. Perhaps it’s simply having more time for yourself, your hobbies, health and fitness, or something entirely different. Whatever it is, I want to help you achieve it. Why? I believe it’s our birthright and we’re a long time dead!
But here’s the thing. When new clients first come and work with me, they seem to think they have to make a choice between running a successful business or a life. For me, that mindset comes from ‘scarcity’ thinking. Abundant thinking, asks, ‘Why can’t I have both – a business and an enriched life’. That’s what I’m about.
Growing up – my own experience showed me firsthand the destructive path that stress manifests when businesses start to wobble and topple over, and the impact this has on those closest to us. I’m determined to help as many people as possible to have a business to be proud of – and a life worth living.
That’s what keeps my flame going.
