04 June 2024

As we approach Father’s Day on the 16th June, I find myself reflecting on what truly makes a great father. When I first met Jas over 20 years ago, I knew he’d be a good dad. Yet, I never fully anticipated the exceptional father he would become.

Jas exemplifies the qualities that I believe are essential in a father. He always makes time for our daughters, creating fun, attending their events, and ensuring that we maintain a balance between our business commitments and family life. It’s about being there, whether cheering them on at sports day, caring for them when they’re unwell, or simply being present in the everyday moments that matter most.

In our business, we strive to pass on these values of hard work and commitment to our girls, hoping they carry these principles into their own futures, especially when they become parents themselves. But beyond these lessons, we want to emphasise that time is the most precious commodity we have. Unlike money, time spent cannot be regained.

This is also something we constantly share with other business owners, encouraging them to find the right balance that allows them to cherish these irreplaceable moments with their loved ones.

I want to express my heartfelt appreciation to Jas, not just as my partner but as a truly wonderful father to our two girls. They, like me, are incredibly fortunate to have him in our lives.

We hope this month brings you and your loved ones a chance to reflect on and celebrate the profound influence fathers have in our lives.
